
(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has announced their weekly Player's of the Week and Concordia Cardinals Jake Kuhlman earned NCCAA Player of the Week for his performance in the five Cardinal games last week.
Kuhlman, a senior from West Bloomfield, Michigan, had another great week both in the batter's box and on the basepaths as he recorded a 0.563 batting average over 16 at-bats. Kuhlman tallied nine hits, eight runs, eight RBIs, and five extra base hits including two triples. On the basepaths, Kuhlman recorded a perfect 11-for-11 week on stolen bases. He also sported a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on 22 chances at second base.
The Cardinals are back in action tomorrow March 4, with a doubleheader against Goshen and follow that with a pair of doubleheaders against Rio Grande this upcoming Friday and Saturday.
