Cheer secures top finish at WHAC #1

(Livonia, MI) Concordia Cheer took to the mats Saturday for their first WHAC competition of the season, hosted by Madonna. The Cardinals soared high, taking first place out of the six teams in attendance, scoring 80.63 points. Concordia was the only squad to break the 80-point threshold, beating second place Lourdes by nearly a full two points.

 

"We are grateful for the opportunity to kick off our season with a conference meet," said Head Assistant Coach Shanitra Cheff. "While we have much work to do, we appreciate every moment together enjoying the essence of family, belly laughs, and competitive growth."

The Cardinals will head South next weekend for The America's Cheerleading Cup Championship presented by Nfinity in Orlando.
