Koshowsky named NAIA All-America Honorable Mention

(Ann Arbor, MI) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2021 Competitive Dance All-America teams on Monday and Lindsey Koshowsky has been named NAIA All-America Honorable Mention. This is the first time Koshowsky has earned All-America honors as she has now completed her Freshman season on the Cardinal Dance Team.

To achieve NAIA All-America or Honorable Mention status, student-athletes participated in a tryout at one of the NAIA Regional Qualifiers. Officials judge the athletes during the tryout and the All-American teams were determined by the judges' scores which took into account leaps, pirouettes, turns, and choreography.

Koshowsky was also honored at the conference level when she was named WHAC Newcomer of the Year. The Freshman received First Team All-WHAC as well.

Former Cardinal standout Kayla Boye is the only other dancer in program history to earn All-American honors as she earned Honorable Mention in 2019.
