Men's Bowling takes home third place finish at second WHAC Jamboree

(Jackson, MI) The Concordia Cardinals men's bowling team played host this weekend as they hosted the second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match of the season. The competition saw nine other teams from the conference meeting on Saturday. The men's team saw good results as they were able to finish third overall.

 

The top finisher in the afternoon was Brenden Gossman as he came out with a fourth place finish after a 233 high game and a total score of 893. Kyle Lewis was the other top-10 finisher for the Cardinals in ninth place after posting the team-high of 243 for a total of 830. 

 

Alexander Bumpus and Korey Reichard both completed four games for CUAA as they bowled a 757 and 714 respectively. Nicholas Clausen played three games bowling a 556. Izzac Goergen bowled one game with a 180.

 

Indiana Tech swept both the team and the individual champions as they took first place by just over 600 pins with 7770 total pins. James Bennett took the top spot with a 967 which was 15 pins better than his teammate. 

 

The Cardinals will head back out on the lanes in two weekends as they will travel and compete at the Bowling Green State Falcons Classic on November 20.
