Connor Rogus takes home the first WHAC Bowler of the Week award of the season

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced the first Player of the Week honors of the 2024-25 season and Concordia Cardinals Men's Bowler Connor Rogus earned his second career honor.

 

Rogus, a sophomore from Macomb, Michigan, took home the top individual spot at the Dirty Bird Classic this weekend. Rogus led the tournament with a 222 average over the three games bowled including a high game of 245. His total score of 668 was 19 pins higher than second place. 

 

The Cardinals as a team finished in first place in the qualifying round before falling in the semifinals to Trine. 

 

Rogus and the Cards are back in action next Saturday at the first WHAC tournament of the season, which will be held at the Jax 60 in Jackson, Michigan.
