Men's Golf competes at Bill Bockwitz Classic

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia University Cardinals men's golf team traveled to Lansing, MI to compete at the Bill Bockwitz Classic (hosted by Spring Arbor University) on both Monday and Tuesday which saw them finish with a team score of 1019 after 54 holes.

 

Neil Heinlein finished with the top score for the Cardinals and placed 24th with a score of 237. Dalton Stiegler and Nick Althouse were the next top finishers for Concordia with scores of 255 and 264 respectively. Zach Burk and Gibson Wilke rounded out the top five for the Cardinals at 274 and 282 respectively. Andrew Burk also competed at the event for CUAA and finished with a score of 283.

 

Marian (IN) finished in first place with a team total of 892 points, while Spring Arbor (915) and Indiana Wesleyan (935) finished second and third respectively. Jay Williams and Seth Kestranek both from Marian finished tied for first with a score of 222.

 

The next match for the Cardinals will be next Monday and Tuesday as they will compete at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference preview at the Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek, MI.
