Men's Golf finishes up fall season at the Lourdes Invitational

(Sylvania, OH) - The Concordia Cardinals Men's Golf rounded out their 2022 Fall season on Monday afternoon as they traveled down to Sylvania, Ohio for the Lourdes Invitational at the Sylvania Country Club. The Cardinals as a team would finish in sixth place with a score of 332.

 

CARDINAL SCORES

CUAA was led by Dalton Steigler with a score of 79 and a tie for 15th place. Ending in a tie for 29th place with a score of 82 were both Neil Heinlein and Zakary Schroeder. Joshua Line and Travis Lysiak were the final two golfers apart of the team as they would both shoot an 89, with one of those scores counting toward the team final.

 

The Cardinals would have Andrew Burk and Gibson Wilke both compete at the invitational as individuals as Burk would shoot a 92 and Wilke a 93.

 

TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONS

In the end, there would be a two-way tie for first place as both Madonna and Lourdes would shoot a 310 overall score.

 

The individual winner though would come from Siena Heights as Colin Duffy would take first with a score of 74, which was one better than second place. 

 

NEXT UP

The Cardinals finished up their fall season yesterday and will await the spring season schedule as that is yet to be determined.
