Men's Soccer places two players on CSC All-District Team

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The College Sport Communicators (CSC) released their 2022 Academic All-District winners on Tuesday afternoon and two Concordia Cardinals were named to the All-District team. Luke Neuhaus and Caleb Comstock were the two Men's Soccer players that were named to the team. 

 

Luke Neuhaus, is a junior from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and is studying Athletic Training. He has cumulated a GPA of 3.68. 

 

Caleb Comstock is a junior from Canton, Michigan, he is studying Physical Therapy while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.87.

 

The 2022 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender.

 

College Sport Communicators is a 3,200+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The organization was previously known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and was changed to its new name in August of 2022.

 

Nominees for the All-District team must have participated in at least 50% of the team's matches throughout the season while also maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.50. The student-athlete must also complete one full calendar year at the institution and reach sophomore athletic eligibility in order to qualify for the honor.

 

Both Cardinals will now be placed on the ballot for CSC All-America consideration with those teams being released on December 7th.
