Women's Bowling takes a fifth place finish at second WHAC Jamboree

(Jackson, MI) The Concordia University women's bowling hosted the second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. There were nine other teams that competed at the event that saw the Cardinals finish middle of the pack in fifth place with 6118 pins. 

 

Emilee Hughes finished just outside of the top-10 at the event at 12th with a total of 734 pins. Gabriella Van Horn ended up just behind Hughes 723 total pins and a high game of 201. Shannon Geiger bowled the high game for the Cardinals at 213 after bowling only three games and a total of 541.

 

Isabell Cooley bowled three games and finished at 505. Emma Price and Amanda Fisher bowled two games a piece and hit 289 and 275 pins respectively. Tori Vanderkuur and Alyvia Hock each knocked down 170 pins. 

 

Indiana Tech won the event in both the individual and the team event. As a team they were able to knock down 7096 pins. Maryssa Carey won the event with a total of 887 pins which was 62 pins better than the second place finisher. 

 

The next event for the Cardinals will be in two weeks as they travel to the Bowling Green State Falcons Classic on November 20
