Women's Bowling takes second at Rochester Classic

(Waterford, MI) Concordia Women's Bowling kicked off their season at the Rochester Classic Saturday. The Cardinals finished the event in second place with a score of 6477 and had four bowlers in the top 15.

 

 

Emilee Hughes led the Cards with a 905 through five games, which landed her in fifth place in the individual competition. Shannon Geiger cracked the top ten when her 874 put her in ninth.

 

Isabell Cooley came in 11th place at the event with an 859 through five games. Gabriella VanHorn rolled an 854 to make her 13th at the Rochester Classic.

 

Amanda Fisher bowled four games for Concordia and an average of 171.25 per game. Alyvia Hock played one game, knocking down 149 pins.

 

 

Lawrence Tech won the team competition with a total of 6709 pins. The Blue Devils' Daniella DeCruydt won the individual competition with a score of 1109.

 

 

Next up for the Cardinals is the Midwest Collegiate Classic starting on October 1st. The competition will be at AMF West in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
