Women's Golf takes fourth at IU-East Invitational

(Muncie, IN) The Concordia Women's Golf Team competed at the IU-East Invitational Friday. The event took place at Delaware Country Club and the Cardinals took fourth place. The team posted the fourth best two-round score in program history with an 828.

 

 

Callie Wabeke broke into the top-ten two-round scores in program history with a 194 on the day. The freshman also posted the Cardinals' lowest individual round with her 92 in the second round.

 

Rachel Yuhas was the next lowest score for the Cardinals with a 203 and was closely followed by Amelia Black with a 205. Lilly Alaspa rounded out Concordia's efforts with a 226.

 

 

Marian University won the event with a 665 and it was the Knights' Mackenzie Dresbaugh winning the individual competition with an 159.

 

 

Next on the schedule for the Cardinals is the WHAC Fall Preview on October 3rd and 4th. The competition will be at Stonehedge North in Augusta, Michigan.
