(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced their weekly player of the week recipients on Monday afternoon and Hayley Jacobson was named the NCCAA D1 Women's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week.
Jacobson was on fire in the team's lone game last week, recording a career high 10 saves as she was instramental in securing a draw. Her clutch play in the final minutes, including 4 saves in the final 7 minutes, led the Cardinals to their first clean sheet of the season.
Jacobson is the first Cardinal in the Women's Soccer program to be recognized by NCCAA this season.
Concordia will be back in action this week as they head to Fort Wayne, IN for a matchup with Saint Francis (Ind.) on Wednesday, September 14th at 5:30pm.
