Women's Soccer drops match at Siena Heights

(Adrian, MI) Concordia Women's Soccer continued WHAC play with a road contest at Siena Heights Friday afternoon. The Cardinals conceded a goal 8 minutes in to play and then three quick goals 15 minutes later, ultimately falling 4-0 to the Saints.

 

Hayley Jacobson recorded 6 saves in goal for the Cardinals while Isabel Stropich led the team with two shots, both on goal.

 

 

Isabel Remar drew first blood for the Saints in the eighth minute of play when she beat Jacobson to the bottom left of the goal.

 

The Saints attack exploded for a burst of 3 goals in 3 minutes beginning in the 22nd minute. Lily Tiplady netted the first two and then it was Marissa Young on the counter attack following a Cardinals corner kick.

 

 

Concordia will be at home Wednesday October 5th for a match against Cleary. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM at Cardinal Stadium.
