(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) released their postseason conference honors and saw a couple of Cardinals honored by the conference for their efforts this season.
ALL-NEWCOMER TEAM
ALYSSA PRINGLE | FR | OAKLEY, CALIFORNIA
Pringle led the team this season as she played on both sides of the field, both as a defender and attacker. Pringle led the team with four goals this season while tacking on an assist as well. Pringle earned WHAC Offensive Player of the Week earlier this season as well.
Also, WHAC All-Academic teams were named on Thursday. The qualifications for the All-Academic team were a sophomore in academic standing and a cumulative GPA of 3.25. Those six Cardinals were Danielle Bracken, Ambryn Diener, Kamryn Gerecke, Halle Kallsen, Kenra Lewis, and Samantha Pomponio.
Micayla McGee was the team's nominee for the WHAC Champions of Character. The freshman was honored for his commitment to the five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
Head Coach Darus Ward was also honored by the WHAC as the Champions of Character Coach.
