Set 1 - UMD 25, CUAA 23

The first set saw a lot of back-and-forth action between the two teams. The Cards would take advantage when they would go on a 6-2 run in the middle of the set as they got kills from Abigail Austin and McKenzie Peters. Later in the set, the Cardinals would take a 20-18 lead off two Wolverine errors before a late 7-3 run would give set one to the Wolverines.

Set 2 - UMD 25, CUAA 12

The second set was all Wolverines as they came out hot with a 10-4. CUAA would get within four points, but from then on it was all UMD as they would go on and win the set 25-12.

Set 3 - CUAA 25, UMD 20

Yet another back and forth set would see the Cardinals jumping out to a 15-9 lead as they would benefit with kills from Breann June and Tara Drinane with multiple. The Wolverines tied the score up at 18 before CUAA took over the rest of the set as they would take advantage of multiple Wolverine errors.

Set 4 - UMD 25, CUAA 23

The final set of the match saw the Cardinals get out to a 12-8 lead before the rest of the match was back and forth. The two teams battled back and forth as they would see a tie five times. Kills from Madalyn Lisman and Kaitlin Veihl would help in the attempt to win the set and force a game 5, but to no avail, as the Wolverines were too much for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals will return to their home court on Wednesday, October 27 as they will go up against the Warriors of Indiana Tech with a 7 pm start.
