Peters takes home WHAC Attacker of the Week

(Ann Arbor, MI) The Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their weekly player of the week recipients on Monday afternoon and Kayla Peters was named the WHAC's Attacker of the Week.

Peters, a sophomore, was crucial in each game this past week helping the Cards to come back from down 2-0 twice. Throughout the three games last week she tallied 54 kills and 50 digs. Peters was able to average 3.86 kills per set and 3.57 digs per set. Peters also recorded a career-high 23 kills in the comeback win against Lourdes on Saturday. 

Peters joins Abigail Austin, who has been named Setter of the week twice this season, as players who have been honored by the conference this season. 

The Cards will be back in action on Wednesday as they will play their third to final game this season against Cornerstone with the match beginning at 7 PM.
