Volleyball's Peters headlines NCCAA Midwest All-Region Team

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced its regional volleyball awards on Tuesday and two Cardinals were recognized. Concordia Cardinal's Volleyball players Kayla Peters and Claudia Grepke were all named to the NCCAA D1 Midwest All-Regional Team.

 

In addition to being named to the All-Region Team, junior Kayla Peters was named the Midwest Regional Player of the Year. Peters was one of the leaders on the team both on the front and back line as she was second on the team with 334 kills, while also managing to grab 396 digs, which was also second. 

 

Sophomore Claudia Grepke was also honored on the team as well after leading the team with 368 kills, averaging 3.17 per set. She was also able to get 128 digs on the season as well, after averaging 1.10 per set. 

 

This is the second year in a row that Peters has been named to the NCCAA D1 Midwest All-Region Team, while this is Grepke's first honor on the team.
