Concordia women's XC competes at the Ray Bullock Invitational

(Upland, IN) On Friday, Concordia women's cross country traveled to Taylor University to compete at the Ray Bullock Invitational. Five cardinal women toed the line to race to a 14th place finish in the 5k event. More than 17 teams competed in harsh warm weather while on the course. 

Gabby Porter earned the top spot for the Cardinals, running 20:17.1 for a 38th place finish. 

Meg Espinoza and Anna Glomski both ran well. Espinoza raced to a time of 22:00.2, a new personal record, while Glomski was just behind her, running 23:09.2. 

Rounding out the flock were Liz Trent and Lydia Schroeder who finished the course with times of 23.21.3 and 25:06.0, respectively.

The Cardinals travel to Lansing, MI next week to compete in the Lansing Community College Invitational on Friday, October 1. Keep up to date with the cardinals by following the team on social media (cuaaxctf).
