(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their weekly players of the week on Monday afternoon. Men's Hockey's Seth Francois earned the offensive honors for the conference this past week.
Francois, a freshman from Pelkie, Michigan, tallied a team-high six points over the weekend, scoring three goals and recording three assists as well. Francois also scored two power-play goals over the matches as well. All three of his goals would come in the 8-1 win, scoring the fifth hat-trick in Cardinal program history.
Francois joins fellow Cardinal goalies Anthony Seykora and Zachary Janis as WHAC player of the week winners. This is Francois' first player of the week honor of his career.
The Cardinals will be back in action next Friday, February 3rd against the 7th-ranked Indiana Tech Warriors. Puck drop is set for 7:30 pm at SportONE/Parkview Ice House in Fort Wayne, IN.
