(Ann Arbor, MI) – Concordia's Baseball program has seen tremendous success during their tenure in Ann Arbor. This year's seniors include Vann Acker (SR/Eaton Rapids, MI), RJ Bortle (SR/Hartland, MI), Matt Botti, Kane Bourbina (SR/Saginaw, MI), Victor Diaz (SR/Guarenas, Venezuela ), Roger Engle (SR/Lorain, Ohio), Christopher Lowe, Brendan Lyons (SR/Woodhaven, MI), Adam Purdy (SR/Lima, OH), Preston Sherman (SR/Homer, MI), Cole Southworth (SR/Decatur, MI), Joey Stasa (SR/Battle Creek, MI), Grant Steinborn (SR/Flushing, MI), Zack Williams (SR/New Boston, MI), and Jake Light

This squad has gone 130-58 over the past four years, that included a reacord breaking 42-13 season in 2016-17. Three of their four seasons top the record books for the most wins in a single season. The Cardinals qualified for the NCCAA World Series in 2019. The program scored 48 runs in their first five games of the tournament before reaching the championship game against Warner University. They then defeated the Royals and brought home the programs first NCCAA national championship back to Ann Arbor.

Vann Acker has attended Concordia for the past two years. He hails from Eaton Rapids, Michigan, and is a Business major with an emphasis on Accounting. Vann says that the team's best quality is their confidence. His favorite memory was winning the NCCAA National Championship in 2019. Vann states that his time at Concordia has been fun in more ways than he ever imagined.

Matt Botti has attended Concordia for the past five years. He hails from Decatur, Michigan, and is a Nursing major. Matt says that the team's best quality is their grittiness. His favorite memory was winning the NCCAA World Series in 2019. Matt states that his time at Concordia has been momentous.

Kane Bourbina has attended Concordia for the past two years. He hails from Saginaw, Michigan, and is a Radiological Technology major. Kane says that the team's best quality is their brotherhood. His favorite memory was winning the NCCAA World Series in 2019. Kane states that his time at Concordia has been eventful.

Victor Diaz has attended Concordia for the past five years. He hails from Guarenas, Venezuela, and is an Exercise Science major. Victor says that the team's best quality is their brotherhood. His favorite memory was having a blast with his brothers every year on their Florida trips. Victor states that his time at Concordia has been blessed.

Roger Engle has attended Concordia for the past five years. He hails from Lorain, Ohio, and is a Secondary Special Education major. Roger says that the team's best quality is their brotherhood. His favorite memory was having a 1-2-3 inning in his first appearance this season. Roger states that his time at Concordia has been eventful.

Christopher Lowe has attended Concordia for the past three years. He hails from DeWitt, Michigan, and is an Accounting major. Chris says that the team's best quality is their family atmosphere. His favorite memory was winning the NCCAA World Series in 2019. Chris states that his time at Concordia has shown a positive perspective in his life.

Brendan Lyons has attended Concordia for the past five years. He hails from Woodhaven, Michigan, and is a Business major. Brendan says that the team's best quality is their bond and chemistry. His favorite memory was winning the NCCAA World Series in 2019. Brendan states that his time at Concordia has been amazing.

Adam Purdy has attended Concordia for one year. He hails from Lima, Ohio, and is a Finance major. Adam says that the team's best quality is their trust in each other's abilities. His favorite memory was Robbie getting his first collegiate home run in Illinois. Adam states that his time at Concordia has been awesome.

Preston Sherman has attended Concordia for the past five years. He hails from Homer, Michigan, and is a Business major. Preston says that the team's best quality is their chemistry and drive to win. His favorite memory was winning the NCCAA World Series in 2019. Preston states that his time at Concordia has been uncommon.

Cole Southworth has attended Concordia over the past five years. He hails from Decatur, Michigan, and is an Elementary Special Education major. Cole says that the team's best quality is their chemistry. His favorite memory was winning the NCCAA World Series in 2019. Cole states that his time at Concordia has been eye-opening.

Joey Stasa has attended Concordia over the past three years. He hails from Battle Creek, Michigan, and is a Business Management major. Joey says that the team's best quality is their communication. Grant Steinborn has attended Concordia over the past three years. He hails from New Lothrop, Michigan, and is a Business Management major. Grant says that the team's best quality is their family atmosphere. His favorite memory was winning the NCCAA World Series in 2019. Grant states that his time at Concordia has been memorable.

Zack Williams has attended Concordia over the past five years. He hails from New Boston, Michigan, and is a Sport and Entertainment Business major. Zack states that his time at Concordia has been unforgettable.

Jake Light served as the team manager for the program the last four years. While serving the team through a variety of tasks both behind the scences and on the front lines. Light's skillset and passion for the game of baseball played a vital role in the team's success. Light was the lead statistcian for the team and provided his satistical expertise for other sports in the athletic department.
