NAIA Release

(Ann Arbor, MI) – After making some noise with a 12 game win streak and 5-1 record in conference play, the Concordia baseball team received votes in the most recent NAIA Baseball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Cardinals were last recognized by the NAIA over two years ago on March 19th, 2019.

Coach Johnston's team has recently found its stride, winning 15 of their last 18 games. The recent hot streak has propelled the Cards to first in the WHAC standings and just outside of the NAIA's Top 25. Concordia has featured strong pitching with a 3.70 team ERA which leads the WHAC and is 19th in the NAIA. The Cards also swipe 2.78 bags per game which is the most in the conference and 11th in the nation.

The Cardinals are set to faceoff in a nonconference doubleheader against Saint Xavier this Friday before returning to WHAC play on Saturday against Rochester.
