Dance competes at WHAC Championship; Koshowsky repeats as First Team All-WHAC

(Southfield, MI) The Concordia Dance Team entered the postseason portion of their schedule at the WHAC Championships hosted by Lawrence Tech Friday night. The Cardinals took fifth place at the event and Lindsey Koshowsky earned First Team All-Conference honors.

 

The event consisted of two rounds with the first round consisting of 25% of the final score and the second round making up 75% of the final score. Concordia posted a score of 44.73 in the preliminary round and a 44.30 in the second round for a total of 44.41.

 

Aquinas took first place at the event with a score of 82.08 and the Saints' Madison Baese secured WHAC Dance of the Year.

 

Concordia's Lindsey Koshowsky was awarded First Team All-WHAC honors for her performance in the All-Conference tryouts making it two years in a row she has made the First Team.

 

Taylor Kolosar and Katie MacInnis were named to the All-Academic Team for meeting the WHAC requirements of a sophomore academic status while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25. Alyssa Kraemer was named the Cardinals recipient of the WHAC Champions of Character. This award is given to a representative from each participating institution that displays the five core values of the NAIA which are respect, integrity, responsibility, servant leadership, and sportsmanship.
