Men's Soccer topped by Siena Heights on Senior Day

(Ann Arbor, MI) The men's soccer team played their final home game of the season this Saturday against the Saints from Siena Heights. Although the Cardinals had a 1-0 lead at the half, the Saints came back to win the match 2-1.

 

  • Bryce Schaner drew first blood for the Cardinals scoring off of a Nicholas Corona long ball in the 16th minute. Schaner led the Cardinals with 6 shots on the day.
  • Gustavo Barros and Mattheus Marrote were the goal scorers for Siena in their second half comeback.
  • Kyri Wixom accumulated 12 saves in goal for the Cardinals.
  • The match was relatively even in shots as the Saints had 23 compared to the Cardinals' 21.

 

The Cardinals will travel to Lourdes this Wednesday the 27th with kick off being at 4:00 PM in Sylvania, Ohio.
