Men's Tennis picks up first win of the season over Olivet

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia Cardinals Men's Tennis team opened their new season with a 5-2 win over NCAA Division III Olivet College. Overall as a team, the Cardinals would come home with only dropping 10 games.

The singles match saw Ethan Hiltz and Ethan Szabados come away with double 6-0 wins, while Phillip Curry won his matches 6-1 and 6-0. #1 singles saw the toughest match of the day as Isaac Haley won 6-2 and 7-5. The Cardinals had to forfeit the other two matches. 

 

The doubles match saw Isaac Haley and Ethan Hiltz win 6-2 in their match, while Ethan Szabados and Phillip Curry won 6-0. 

 

The Cards will have a doubleheader this weekend as they travel to the west side of the state on Friday for a match against Calvin, while Saturday will feature a match against Albion.
