Leatherman takes home First WHAC Player of the Week honors

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced their weekly player of the week honors and Concordia's Women's Basketball player Taylor Leatherman earned the latest honors.

 

Leatherman, a junior from Wadsworth, Ohio,  helped the team go 1-1 on the week with a road win over #RV Siena Heights while falling in a close game against Rochester. Leatherman would average 23.5 points per game while bringing down 7 rebounds a game as well. In the game against Siena Heights, she would total 22 points, 4 steals, and 3 rebounds, while playing 43 minutes. The game against Rochester saw her total 25 points, 3 assists, and 11 rebounds over 34 minutes. 

 

This is the first time Leatherman has taken home the weekly award. 

 

Leatherman and the Women's Basketball team will travel to Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday and will return home on Saturday to go up against UM-Dearborn with tip-off set for 1 PM.
