Women's Bowling finishes in 15th place at the Glenn Carlson Invitational

(Las Vegas, NV) - The Women's Bowling team headed west for their most recent tournament as the Cardinals would compete at the Glenn Carlson Invitational over the past two days as they would finish the tournament in 15th place with a score of 7,936 pins. 

 

CARDINALS RESULTS

The top finisher on the team was Gabriella VanHorn as she bowled a 1,684 over 9 games, ending in 26th place. Emilee Hughes finished one pin back from VanHorn with a 1,683 ending in 27th place. The third finisher on the team was Shannon Geiger as she knocked down 1,661 pins throughout the 9 games. 

 

Bowling in 6 games with an average of 160.5 was Amanda Fisher as she knocked down 963 pins. Bailey Tomlin bowled in 4 games in the tournament as she hit 666 pins with an average of 166.5 pins. Ariella Oakley and Alyvia Hock would each go 3 games hitting 505 and 501 pins respectively. The final two games were bowled by Isabell Cooley with a score fo 273. 

 

TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL WINNER

Wichita State would finish the 9 rounds in first place after hitting 8,924 pins. The tournament winner though would go to St. Francis (IL) as they would battle through the knockout baker games to take home the championship. The individual winner would be Kaylee Back from Oklahoma Christian University with a score of 1,913 pins.
