Paige Chapman Tabbed to lead Women's Lacrosse

(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia University Athletic Department has announced that Paige Chapman has been elevated to the position of Head Women's Lacrosse Coach. Chapman began her duties on September 1.

Paige Chapman came to Concordia in August of 2020 as the assistant coach for the women's lacrosse team while also being the summer head coach for the U12 Triumph lacrosse team in Plymouth, MI.

"Paige was a key member of our women's lacrosse staff last year as they won their first-ever conference championship," said Athletic Director Lonnie Pries. "She is familiar with Concordia, has a strong relationship with our student-athletes, and is passionate about lacrosse and helping our program continue to grow.  We are thankful that Paige is here to lead our program."

Chapman is a 2019 graduate of Georgetown College in Kentucky where she was a two-year starter for the women's lacrosse team. Throughout her time at Georgetown she worked multiple lacrosse camps and spent time as the head coach for Catherine of Siena Academy in Wixom. Chapman also assisted the sports information department while at Georgetown.

Paige is ecstatic about stepping up as the women's head lacrosse coach. "After being here a year, I fell in love with the school and atmosphere. I learned from the best in that year and am truly thankful for Coach Asher. It was amazing being here and winning the regular-season conference, I have high hopes to continue bringing home wins and seeing where the team goes. We have a wide range of talent and I can't wait to see it on the field. Our motto this year is Be the Best on and off the field, I can't wait to see that through, the hard work isn't over yet."
