NAIA Release and All-America Teams
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced their 2020 women's soccer all-america teams. Samantha Golchuk highlighted honors for the Cardinals being named NAIA All-America honorable mention team. This marks the first time in Golchuk's career that she has earned all-america honors by the NAIA.
Golchuk's illustrious career will end as a two-time member of the WHAC first team honors. She also received second team all-conference after her sophomore campaign and was named to the newcomer team as a freshman. Golchuk has certainly earned the respect of fellow WHAC members and the NAIA as her numbers speak for themselves. Golchuk totaled 10 goals in only 11 games played this season which gives her 47 in her career. Despite the shortened senior season, Golchuk ranks second in career goals to former all-american teammate Julia Palushaj. Golchuk totaled 22 points this season which also gives her 104 for her career and totaled 12 career game winners.
Julia Palushaj is the last Cardinal to earn all-america honors when she was also recognized on the honorable mention team in 2015.
