Women's Tennis drops home finale to (RV) UNOH

(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia Women's Tennis team took to the courts for their final home match of the season Friday morning. They took on the University of Northwestern Ohio who is receiving votes within the NAIA. The Racers won the contest by a score of 6-1.

 

The Racers won the doubles point, but not before Elle Fritcha and Anna Leeper took two games in the #1 Doubles match. Fritcha nearly won her first set in #1 singles, ultimately falling (6-4, 6-0). Hollie Johnson and Jada Guinn both were able to win a game in the first set of their singles matches. Katie Vivaqua won the Cardinals lone point with a forfeit in #6 singles.

 

The Cardinals will now advance to the WHAC playoffs on Friday, April 29th, where they are set to face second seeded Cornerstone. The game will take place at Gainey Tennis Courts in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with first serve set for 1:30 PM.
