(Ann Arbor, MI) The Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced on Monday afternoon their players of the week and Cardinals volleyball player Abigail Austin was named as the WHAC setter of the week and the NCCAA student-athlete of the week.
Austin and the Cardinals went 3-0 on the week as they were able to pull off wins against Aquinas, Rochester, and Lawrence Tech. Throughout last week she tallied up 125 assists, which was good for 10 assists per set. She also was key on the defensive end with 40 digs and three block-assists.
This is the third time that Austin has won WHAC player of the week and the second time for NCCAA player of the week.
The Cardinals will head back to the court on Friday, October 22 as they travel to Livonia, MI to face off against the Crusaders of Madonna University with the first serve at 7 PM.
