Ashley returns to Concordia for her second season as a volunteer assistant coach. Prior to coaching at Concordia, Ashley has coached with national level teams at A2 Volleyball Club and Michigan Elite Volleyball Club, as well as Skyline Ann Arbor High School and West Bloomfield High School. 

  

While at Concordia ('06-09), Ashley was a four-year starting libero, two-year captain and scholar-athlete. She was a NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete ('08 & '09), received the WHAC Champion of Character award in 2008, and was WHAC All Conference Honorable Mention ('07). Ashley holds the all-time dig record at Concordia with 2,624 and three single season records for digs, 855 (1st, '07), 646 (5th, '06) and 577 (8th, '09), as well as all time aces with 131 (5th). 

 

After graduating from Concordia Ann Arbor with her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Sociology ('09), Ashley went to the University of Michigan and received her Master’s in Social Work ('11). She currently owns and operates a mental health practice in Troy, Michigan, Counseling Services of Troy. She is also a partner in a social worker-based company providing group therapy services to the elderly, Tender Heart Therapeutic Arts and Crafts. 

 

Ashley lives with her husband, Todd and their dog, Riley, in Farmington Hills, Michigan and just had their son Cameron in November 2021.
