Women's Cross Country runs at Lansing Community College 5k Invitational

(Lansing, MI) Concordia women's cross country competed Friday at the Lansing Community College 5k Invitational in Lansing, MI.

 

Sophomore Megan Espinoza (Manistique, MI) came in first for the Cardinals, running 22:20.4. Just behind her was fellow sophomore Anna Glomski (Kalamazoo, MI). Glomski completed the 5k course in a time of 22:44.2, which is a season best for her. Next to cross the line for the Cardinals was senior Liz Trent (Saginaw, MI), running 23:30.5. In her collegiate debut, freshman Chloe Gunter (Monroe, MI) finished with a time of 25:01.5. Just behind her was senior Lydia Schroeder (Napoleon, OH), running 25:31.4, and grabbing the last scoring spot for the Concordia. With more 19 teams at the event, the Cardinals took home at 17th place finish.
