Christians earns WHAC Offensive Player of the Week

(Ann Arbor, MI) The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference has announced their weekly winners for players of the week in the conference and Concordia's Abel Christians earned offensive players of the week honors this past week.

 

The Cardinals split their series against Lawrence Tech this past weekend including a 6-5 win on Friday evening over the Blue Devils. 

 

Christians, a senior from Grand Rapids, tallied a goal and 2 assists in both games this past weekend bringing his scoring for the weekend to 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 total points. This ties for his best series of the season. This series brings his season a total of 31 points on the season. 

 

Abel Christians join Hunter Kepple, Brandon Troyer, Brayden Tayles, and Anthony Seykora as past winners for the WHAC awards. 

 

The Cardinal's next game will be in the WHAC Tournament that will be hosted by Indiana Tech which will take place on February 18-20. The final seeding is still yet to be determined.
