The Pride added another goal in the first minute of the second period.  The Cardinals had three powerplay chances in the frame with Seth Francois almost scoring on a wraparound.  CUAA trailed 3-0 after the second period.

The Cardinals converted in the third period when Tyler Bieniek jammed a shot in front of the net with Chase Temple assisting.  The team pulled within a goal when Ethan Lindle buried a rebound with Sam Sahr and Jackson Blough drawing the helpers.  Concordia pulled goalkeeper Zachary Janis for an extra attacker in the final minutes, putting on pressure and looking to tie the game.  However, the Pride added an empty-net goal to seal the hard-fought win.
