The Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) started recognizing competitive cheer as a varsity sport during the 2015-2016 season. The National Association Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) began awards during the 2016-2017 season. Records are based on competitions through the 2023 season.
