Dance earns their second CIT title

(Mequon, WI) - The Concordia Cardinals Competitive Dance team competed at the Concordia Invitational Tournament on Saturday. The Cardinals take home their second CIT Championship with their last coming in 2018. 

 

Ann Arbor would take a first-place finish after edging out Wisconsin by 2.8 points with a score of 58.4. Wisconsin ended the meet in second place with a score of 56.8. They were followed by Nebraska at 55.2 and Chicago and 50.7. 

 

Head Coach Beth Strom had this to say about taking home the CIT title "I'm so proud of our team and what they accomplished on the floor today. One of our goals was to bring the game day performance and they did just that. Our performances this weekend really set the tone as we continue to move through our competitive season."

 

The Cardinal's next meet will be at their home event on Saturday, February 17.
