Concordia Dance Team records highest score of season at Regional Qualifier

(Grand Rapids, MI) The Concordia Dance Team competed in the Northeast Regional Qualifier Friday, hosted by Aquinas College. The Cardinals were one of ten teams to perform, and finished the day in sixth place with their highest score of the season. The 78.48 score they received at the regional improves their season average score to 72.97.

 

The Cardinals opened up with a preliminary score of 71.80, which put them in sixth place among the teams. The Cardinals improved in their final performance by nearly 9 points with an 80.70. As usual, the overall score is calculated with 25% of the preliminary round and 75% of the final round. Concordia ended the event with a score of ­­78.48, just 0.03 behind Madonna in fifth place.

 

St. Ambrose won the regional with a 96.27, followed by Aquinas, St. Francis, Siena Heights, and Madonna.
