League of Legends Qualifies for GLEC Playoffs

(Columbus, OH) In its first year competing in the Great Lakes Esports Conference (GLEC), the League of Legends team qualified for playoffs that will be held at Game Arena in Columbus, Ohio on Friday November 3rd and 4th. With a 6-3 record, they made it in as a #8 seed and will play against #1 seed Manchester University. The result of that game will determine their opponents for their second and third games. Whoever wins this playoff earns a bid to CECC Nationals in Arlington, Texas in May.

 

The roster features seniors Captain Tom "1khazadum1" Fill, Jad "Coach Jad" Haidar-Ahmad, Andrew "Meatball" Grager, and Chad "Bilore" Abraham, and Alex "Warm Milk Man" Valencia; junior Caleb "ClebyWeby" Gard; and sophomore Seth "krqptik" Francois.
