Rahn claims Weekly Awards for MSFA and NCCAA

(Ann Arbor, MI) The Mid-States Football Association Mid-East (MSFA) and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) announced their weekly player of the week recipients on Monday afternoon and Graduate Student Aaron Rahn was the winner on the defensive side for his efforts against St. Francis (IN).

 

Rahn ended the game on Saturday tied for the team lead in tackles with 10. In addition, Rahn added on 1.5 sacks and 1.5 tackles for loss. At the end of the first half, Rahn intercepted a pass in the endzone in order to halt the Cougar's offense.

 

 

Rahn joins Luis Gomez, Andrew Foerster, Hunter Maynard, and Gabe Whitmore as the Cardinals to receive MSFA recognition this season. He also joins Casey Rauch, Gavin Brooks, and Hunter Maynard on the NCCAA side of the honors.

 

The Cardinals will be hosting their first-ever NAIA Championship Series Playoff game this Saturday as they were announced as the eighth seed on Sunday evening and will go up against the eleventh seeded St. Xavier on Saturday, November 20 with a 1 PM kickoff.
