Reichard and the Cardinals place fourth at Cornerstone Invitational

(Grandville, MI) The Concordia Cardinals men's bowling team competed at the Cornerstone Invitational over the week that featured multiple Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference teams in addition to multiple division 1 teams. Overall the men's team matched the women's team as they came out with a fourth place finish as they knocked out a total of 7103 pins.

 

Junior Korey Reichard was the top placer for the Cardinals as finished less than 100 pins from first with 1045 pins and a high game of 233. The next two bowlers for the team were Brenden Gossman and Izaac Goergen as they knocked out a total of935 and 918 pins respectively. 

 

Kyle Lewis and Patrick Good Jr. rounded out the scorers for the Cardinals as they tallied 714 and 663 pins respectively. Nicholas Clauson added a high game of 236 in one of his two games that he bowled.

 

Aquinas was the top team from the event as they were able to knock down a total of 7511 pins on the day. They were also able to take the top two individual spots as Abery Thomas and Brandon Foster hit 1140 and 1118 pins respectively.

 

The Cardinals will head back out on the lanes in two weekends as they will travel and compete at the American Heartland Invite on October 30 and 31.
