Men’s Lacrosse dominates Lourdes 31-4
(Ann Arbor, MI) - Concordia men's lacrosse hosted Lourdes on Wednesday afternoon to continue WHAC play.  The Cardinals continued their explosive offense with a resounding 31-4 victory. 
 
Sam Bowling played the first three quarters in net, recording 6 saves.  Sam Saje had a team-high 18 ground balls while going 18-23 on faceoffs.  Ethan Wagner went 9-13 on faceoffs while adding 8 ground balls.   

Andrew Simmons opened scoring just nine seconds into the game off an assist from Spencer Guppy.  Cooper Regimbal found the back of the net and Simmons tacked on 2 more goals to complete a hat trick.  Lourdes made a run of 3 straight goals, but Spencer Guppy scored to start a 5-0 CUAA run.  Sam Saje tallied nine seconds later and Ivan Progar converted with Zachary Dixon assisting.  Cooper Regimbal added his second marker and Evan Stuart scored in the final minute. CUAA led 9-3 after the first quarter. 

Travis Wright scored to open the second quarter which saw eight unanswered Cardinal goals.  Hunter McCarty got on the board and Ryan Davis added a natural hat trick.  Ivan Progar tallied on the power play and Jackson Brookes scored.  Evan Stuart found the back of the net with five seconds left and CUAA took a commanding 17-3 lead into halftime. 
 
Hunter McCarty scored his second goal during the first minute of the third quarter.  Spencer Guppy notched his second marker by redirecting a pass from McCarty behind the net.  Luke Beilhartz notched his first goal and Hunter McCarty completed his hat trick.  Ivan Progar had a shorthanded goal to finish his hat trick and Cross Papadelis added a marker.  Hunter McCarty scored his fourth goal for a 24-4 CUAA lead after three quarters.  
 
Ryan Davis notched his fourth goal to open scoring in the fourth quarter.  Travis Wright spun in front of the net and scored his second marker of the game.  Ivan Progar recorded his fourth goal and Spencer Guppy finished off a hat trick.  Luke Beilhartz added a marker, Ryan Davis scored his team-high fifth goal, and Travis Wright completed his hat trick in the last minute. CUAA claimed a 31-4 victory as time expired.  
 
Concordia will travel to UM-Dearborn this Saturday, April 13th at 2pm.
