Graduated from Western Michigan University in 2019. In 2015, Coach Topper helped with the development of True Kalamazoo. He helped with the building of the program from 2015-2019 during his time on the west side of the state. Coach Topper coached the Battle Creek Lakeview varsity program from 2017-2019. In that time, he was able to help the program win its first ever Regional Championship. Shortly after coaching Battle Creek, Lakeview Coach Topper went on to coach Western Michigan University as the Assistant Coach and offensive coordinator helping them win the Mad City Tournament.
Coach Topper then moved back to the east side of Michigan and began running True Detroit in 2020. During his time at True Detroit, he has helped with the commitment of several high school players to NCAA D2, NCAA D3 and NAIA colleges. During Coach Toppers Spring seasons, he has worked as the assistant coach and offensive coordinator on Plymouth High School's Varsity program. He coached at Plymouth High School from 2020-2023.
Kyle has 3 years of collegiate playing experience stemming from his time at Davenport University and Western Michigan University. He currently plays in the NABLL for the Detroit Hooligans.
