Men's Soccer drops game at Spring Arbor

(Spring Arbor, MI) – Concordia men's soccer traveled to Spring Arbor on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals found themselves up against a strong opponent, falling 10-0.

Ryan Webb started in goal in the first half, notching a save. Spring Arbor jumped out to a fast start with 5 goals. Jose Garcia Garrues took a high shot late in the half, but CUAA trailed 5-0 at halftime.

Kyri Wixom came in to play goalie in the second half, recording 2 saves. The Cardinals earned a pair of corner kicks in the 2nd half off the foot of Alexander Valencia. However, Spring Arbor continued to find their form and claimed a 10-0 win.

 

Concordia will travel to Mount Vernon Nazarene next Saturday, September 10 at 3 pm.
