Men's Soccer falls at UNOH 8-0

(Lima, OH) – Concordia men's soccer traveled to UNOH on Wednesday afternoon in WHAC play. The Cardinals found themselves up against a strong opponent and fell 8-0.

 

Dario Cela played a complete game in net with 13 saves. Cela stayed sharp with multiple saves for his team, but UNOH converted four goals in the half. Carter Kerbawy had a shot on goal just before halftime but CUAA trailed 4-0 at the break.

Concordia threatened early in the second half with a header by Job Munongo. The Cardinals also had several chances later on with shots by Alexander Valencia and Angel Elizondo. However, UNOH stayed strong on offense and claimed an 8-0 win as time expired.

 

Concordia will return home this Saturday to host Cornerstone at 1pm for Senior Day.
