Men's Cross Country competes at Raider Invitational

(Grand Rapids, MI) - The Men's Cross Country team competed at the Grand Rapids Community College Raider Invitational on Saturday. The Cardinals faced a good mix of NCAA Division 2, Division 3, NAIA and Community College Competition. Calvin University partnered to host the meet on their cross country course for CUAA's first 8k of the season.

 

Luke Bentz ran a strong race to give himself a chance for a personal best at Concordia. He finished just 15 seconds off of his best with a overall time of 30:03 and lead the way for the Cardinals. Theodore Eising finished second for the Cardinals with a finishing time of 31:11 and was just 45 seconds off of his best time. Adam Fisch ran his first ran at the 8k distance and opened with a time of 31:28.

 

The men will be back in action at Grant Woods Park on Saturday, September 30th at the Lansing CC Invitational.
