Concordia opens STUNT and Mid-American West Conference play

Concordia STUNT fell to NCAA DII powerhouse Davenport University last night in their season opener. The teams completed a full game of play in Group Stunts, Jumps and Tumbling, Pyramids and Tosses. While Concordia put up strong Group Stunt one and two routine performances, they were not able to pull out a point during the match up. The final score was CUAA 0 – DU 21.

"It was great playing such a strong and successful program. As a new team we learn a lot from these games. But, we had goals of our own not tied to the score. For many of our athletes this is the first time they have been able to compete in close to three years. Just getting to the mat was a win! They played strong and gave full effort. There were lots of stand out performances led by seniors Grace Hasley and Julia Hendrix (Griggs). We are excited to see where this season goes."

Next up STUNT will return to play March 23rd at Olivet before hosting their home opener March 26th.
