Women's Bowling places 6th at AHBA

(Canton, MI) The Women's Bowling team competed this Saturday at the Super Bowl in Canton, Michigan for the American Heartland Bowling Association tournament. Concordia took 6th in the team competition with a total of 6,447 pins and had two bowlers in the top 12 of the event.

 

 

Gabriella VanHorn came in 9th place with an average of 192.8 pins over her five games. VanHorn's high score was a 222 in her final game. Shannon Geiger landed in 12th place at the event with a 186.2 average and high score of 215.

 

Alyvia Hock bowled four games, averaging 172.75 pins per game and Emilee Hughes knocked down 164.67 pins on average during her three games.

 

Four Cardinals bowled in two games each all averaging in the 160's. Isabell Cooley, Arielle Oakley, Hunter Jones, and Amanda Fisher averaged scores of 167.5, 165.5, 164, and 161 respectively.

 

 

Next up for the Cardinals will be the second WHAC Jamboree on Saturday November 6th, at the Jax 60 Bowl in Jackson, Michigan.
