Women's Lacrosse downed by #3 Lawrence Tech

(Ann Arbor, MI) - Concordia women's lacrosse completed their homestand by hosting #3 Lawrence Tech on Wednesday afternoon. The Cardinals kept fighting throughout the game but fell 22-6.

 

Michaela Ullery played a complete game in the net with 10 saves. Brynn O'Neil opened scoring just over two minutes in with an assist from Isabella Komarowski. The Cardinals matched the Blue Devils in shots 7-7, but LTU held a 6-1 lead after the first quarter.

Lawrence Tech added 3 more goals to start the second quarter. Madeline Turcotte ended their run with an unassisted marker. The teams continued to trade scores with Madisyn Fox netting a pair of goals. Cecelia Gibson converted on the powerplay and CUAA trailed 13-5 at halftime.

 

Madisyn Fox completed her hat trick with a shorthanded goal to start the third quarter. Lawrence Tech held a 17-6 lead heading to the final frame.

The Cardinals continued to battle hard during the fourth quarter. However, the team fell by a final score of 22-6.

 

Concordia will travel to their rival Siena Heights this Saturday, March 30th, for a noon game.
