Women's Lacrosse takes down Madonna on Senior Day

Ann Arbor - Concordia hosted Madonna for senior day. They honored Nicole Bordo, Madisyn Fox, Megan Soop, Taylor Armstong, Tara Drinane, and Isabella Komarowski. Madisyn Fox was the scoring leader with 4 goals. Isabella Komarowski lead with 2 assists. Michaela Ullery played a full game and had 11 saves.  

 

Madisyn Fox scored the first goal ten seconds into the game unassisted. In the first quarter, Tara Drinane, Savanna Schmidt, Isabella Komarowski, Brynn O'Neil, and Madisyn Fox each scored goals creating a 6-0 lead.

 

In the 2nd quarter, Madonna was the first to score followed by three Cardinal goals. McKenna VanZant scored unassisted, quickly followed by Savanna Schmidt scoring unassisted. Isabella Komarowski has a free position goal. The Cardinals finished the half 9-1.

 

After the half, the Cardinals kept the momentum with McKenna VanZant scoring her 3rd goal. Not even ten seconds later Madisyn Fox also scored a hat trick. Fox then scored her 4th goal of the game which was her 106th career goal setting a new cardinal record. Isabella would score the 14th cardinal goal also completing her hat trick. 

 

In the 4th quarter, Madonna scored early on making the final score 14-6

 

The Cardinals will be back in action on April 13th at Rochester Christian to conclude their regular season.
