The Concordia Cardinals traveled to Florida College to play in the tournament playing two games on Friday against Oklahoma Wesleyan and Warner College. 

Game 1

Set 1: Concordia 17 - Oklahoma Wesleyan 25

Juliana Weems gets the first kill for the Cardinals. Kayla Peters gets an ace early on. Breann June also earned a few kills. The Cardinals started out point for point but Oklahoma got a streak and the Cardinals couldn't catch back up at the end leaving Oklahoma with a win.

Set 2: Concordia 17 - Oklahoma Wesleyan 25

Concordia starts out with a lead but halfway through let Oklahoma take it and stay ahead. Kayla Peters was still able to get 3 kills. Jessalyn Peavyhouse, Claudia Grepke,  and Breann June, also each had 2 kills. All 9 of those kills were assisted by Abigail Austin. 

Set 3: Concordia 16 - Oklahoma Wesleyan 25 

Oklahoma took the lead immediately and continued to keep it throughout the set. Kayla Peters led in kills and aces for the Cardinals. 

Game 2

Set 1: Concordia 25 - Warner 21

Warner and Concordia went back and forth with the lead but eventually, Concordia came out on top. Kayla Peters,  Madalyn Lisman, Claudia Grepke, Breann June, and Megan Neumann all earned kills and Abigail Austin got all the assists. 

Set 2: Concordia 25 - Warner 14

Although the game started back and forth Korie Fowler went on a run with serves. Abigail Austin and Kayla Peters were also strong servers. 

Set 3: Concordia 25 - Warner 11

The Cardinals started out strong with Abigail Austin serving. Korie Fowler, Leah Troyer, and Kayla Peters were also strong servers. Claudia Grepke led with five kills followed by Kayla Peters, Madalyn Lisman, and Breann June. 

The Cardinals will face off against Trinity Baptist and Florida College in the second day on the tournament on Saturday.
